We begin with an initial meeting to discuss your goals, walk through your home, and take measurements. From there, we create existing-condition drawings and develop 2–3 design options to explore different layouts and possibilities.

We meet over Zoom or in person to review the options, discuss ideas, and collaborate to refine the design into a layout that works best for you.

Once the layout is selected, we begin developing the design into preliminary construction drawings. These plans provide contractors with the information they need to review the project and prepare bids.

This stage also allows us to refine the design, coordinate details, and identify any items that need to be resolved before completing the final construction documents.

We finalize the design and prepare detailed construction documents for permitting. The completed drawing set communicates the design, dimensions, layouts, and details needed to support the permitting process and help contractors move forward with construction.

Engineering services, including structural calculations and engineering drawings, are separate and are provided by an engineer when required.
